So we went up north for Memorial Day and also celebrated Zoe's birthday up there! The Kids loved getting to spend the whole day outside and enjoy cooler weather! They had a blast going to Kevin's softball games and spending time and both Grandparent's cabins!
Then we came back up north for 4th of July! The fireworks were cancelled because of wild fires which was super sad, but the trusty Heber 4th of July parade kept the 4th of July fun alive!! The kids loved the parade and again playing all day outside! Zoe was obsessed with swinging and jumping on the trampoline!We spent most of our time cleaning and weeding the Fischbeck cabin in preparation for Dave and Maurio's homecoming!
In August we went back up north for the Fischbeck Family Camping Reunion. We spent the first night at the cabin and then went up to Big Lake! We love it up there! The Zoe and Ryder were great campers! Played hard all day long and slept like a log! We will definitely try camping again! Big Lake is such a fun place to go as a family, and ride bikes, crawdad (spelling?) fish and build your own swing! Zoe loved swinging and was able to hold on all by herself and wasn't scared at all! Next year Ryder!!
Zoe and Ryder definitely don't take after me when it comes to fishing! Both were excited and very intersted in the whole fishing thing! Ryder loved the crawdads and even touched one!
And no Ryder is not drinking a soda! He loved carrying it around and pretending to drink!
